Campus Violence on 15 July

On 15 July 2024, groups affiliated with the ruling party's student wing attacked quota-reform protesters on multiple university campuses around the country. A five-hour clash at Dhaka University reportedly left over 300 injured, with police figures placing the count treated at DMCH near 297. The same evening, DMCH's emergency department was reportedly stormed, and parallel attacks were reported at Jahangirnagar University and other campuses.
